Dashboard Guide
A tour of every section in the Statiq admin dashboard.
Sites
The top-level view after login. Shows all sites you own or have been invited to. Click a site name to enter its dashboard. Use New Site to create an additional site — each site is fully isolated with its own key, content, and theme.
Site Dashboard
The overview page for a site. Shows live stat tiles (upcoming events, unread messages, active subscribers, live popups, announcements, and testimonials). Also shows recent contact form messages and upcoming events at a glance.
The Embed Snippet section at the bottom shows the exact loader script to paste into your site's <head>. Copy it from here — it's pre-filled with your site key.
Analytics
Privacy-friendly page view tracking — no cookies, no third-party scripts. Tracks page views, top referrers, and device breakdown. Data is collected automatically when the loader script is present on a page. No widget div needed. View the charts at Dashboard → Analytics.
Bookings
Appointment booking system. Configure services (name, duration, price, description) under Bookings → Settings. Business hours determine which time slots are available. Customers book through the booking widget on your site. Manage confirmed appointments in the bookings list.
Contact Inbox
Contact form submissions appear here, marked read or unread. Click any submission to view the full message. Mark as read to clear the unread badge on the dashboard. The contact form widget (data-statiq="contact") collects name, email, and message.
Subscribers
Email addresses collected by the subscribe widget. Shows subscription date. Use the Export button to download a CSV. Unsubscribe links are included automatically on all marketing emails sent via Statiq.
Announcements
Short updates shown via the announcements widget. Each announcement has a title, rich-text body, and an optional publish date — announcements with a future publish date are hidden until that date. Reorder by drag-and-drop.
Events
Events displayed by the calendar widget. Each event has a title, start/end time (in your local timezone — Statiq converts to UTC), optional location, and optional description. The calendar automatically highlights today and shows events as pills on their dates.
Popups
Modal or banner CTAs shown via the popups widget. Configure display delay, frequency (once per session / once per day / always), and an expiry date after which the popup stops showing. Supports a title, body text, and a CTA button with a custom URL.
Emails
Send email broadcasts to your subscriber list. Uses Resend for delivery — requires RESEND_API_KEY set on the server and a verified sending domain configured in Resend. Pre-built templates are included. Custom HTML templates can be created and saved. View send history and open the email preview before sending.
RESEND_API_KEY to be set. Without it, the send button is disabled.
Testimonials
Social proof widget. Send personalised invite links to customers — each link opens a simple form where they write their testimonial. Review submissions in the dashboard and approve or reject them. Only approved testimonials appear on the testimonials widget.
Team Members
Showcases your team via the team widget. Add members with name, role, bio, photo (upload up to 5 MB, or link an external URL), LinkedIn URL, and Twitter/X URL. Social links render as icon buttons on the widget.
FAQ
Collapsible FAQ rendered by the faq widget. Each question has a title and rich-text answer. Set a sort order to control display sequence. Update questions and answers at any time — changes go live immediately.
Gallery
Image gallery with lightbox, rendered by the gallery widget. Upload images (up to 10 MB each) or link by external URL. Add a title, caption, and sort order per image. The lightbox opens automatically when a visitor clicks an image.
Business Hours
Weekly schedule used by the business-hours widget. Configure open/closed hours for each day of the week. The widget shows "Open" or "Closed" based on the current time relative to the schedule. Also required for the booking widget to generate available slots.
Map
Interactive map rendered by the map widget. Uses OpenStreetMap — no API key needed. Set a centre coordinate (latitude/longitude) and a marker label. Choose street or satellite view. Styled automatically to match your site theme.
Social Links
Social profile links rendered as themed icon buttons by the social-links widget. Supported platforms: Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram, GitHub, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest. Add the URL for each platform you want to show.
Theme
Per-site visual customisation. Change accent colour, background, text colour, border radius, and font. A live preview shows how your widgets will look. Changes apply to all widgets on that site immediately — no redeploy needed. Dashboard-only feature, no widget div needed.
Sharing
Invite team members to manage a site without giving them full account access. Set per-site permissions (which sections they can view and edit). Invitees log in with their own account.
Settings
Site-level settings: site name and allowed origins (CORS). The allowed origins list controls which domains can call the public API — set this to your site's domain in production. License activation is also here. The Danger Zone at the bottom permanently deletes the site and all its content.
